AQUARIUS SEASON

So my 26 birthday was this past monday the 21st. I am a cusp of Aquarius and Capricorn but I don't identify very much as a Capricorn. Aquarius all the way! I did my own birth chart using a program that came with an astrology book at the library a few years ago. My sun sign is in Aquarius, and moon sign is Libra. This explains why all my close friends, mom, cousins are Libras! I celebrated my birthday with my family, and my dad who flew home from Switzerland, my cousins who drove down from LA, and my 84 year old grandma who came in from Mexico! I feel so blessed to have my family all in one place at the same time. We had black bean burgers and raw tacos (which I made...I am a little controlling when it comes to food I am so picky I hate it). It miraculously turned from 50 something degrees to 75-80 degrees so we got to sit in my backyard which made it feel like summer again. I do love the cold rainy weather but it was a nice change. I got a few packages from my best friends who live in Berkeley and Brooklyn, which made my day since I miss them so much. I also bought myself a high spirits flute which i have been wanting forever. I think this is one of the only instruments that really just feels natural to me. I find it easy and comfortable to play unlike the guitar that is sitting in the corner of my room. I feel so spoiled that I get christmas, then my birthday and then valentines day all back to back :p Here are some of the pictures I took in the past week.

I forgot to mention my dad got me a torch for my birthday!! He is getting me the whole setup so I can start making real soldered jewelry! I went to school for metal arts originally but changed to psychology but I feel like I learned enough to do it on my own. I can not wait to start experimenting and soon I will have lots of cool pieces up in the shop for sale! I also forgot to mention my boyfriend took me to get a massage and a facial and the place we went to has catering from one of my favorite restaurants. What a dream present! I really do feel spoiled, I got pretty much everything I could want or that I had on any wishlist. My best friend just sent me a silver over the knuckle ring from Catbird in NYC which totally made my day. :)

I also want to mention that I have been chatting with the lovely Marissa from Moondaughter for awhile now and I was lucky enough to be the first person to be a part of her full moon altar series! I am so excited to be a part of her blog, I have been reading it for awhile now, and she is one of the only people I know that doesnt like to drink water like me! Strange but true.
